Who We Are

Microfauna Soil Health grew out of years of hands-on soil work within estate landscapes across the Pacific Northwest.

What began as a contracted soil service evolved into a focused, biology-first approach centered on measurable soil improvement, fine pruning, and long-term landscape resilience. Today, Microfauna operates independently, providing soil analysis, compost tea applications, and regenerative land strategies rooted in data and ecological balance.

Our work strengthens soil ecosystems to support resilient root systems, thoughtful canopy management, and sustainable landscape performance, all guided by a commitment to responsible stewardship and the protection of regional waterways for future generations.

“Living in the Pacific Northwest has instilled in me a deep respect for the natural world. Over the years, I have seen physical changes in our environment, and unfortunately many of those changes have not been for the better. I felt compelled to find a way to help, and that is how Microfauna LLC began.

Through research and field experience, I learned that conventional fertilizers are a major pollutant affecting our keystone species in the Pacific Northwest, especially salmon and steelhead. My goal is to bring awareness to environmentally conscious fertilizer and pesticide applications through compost teas and other solutions that improve overall soil health.

By building a strong base of microorganisms, we can naturally feed gardens without leaching excess nutrients into our waterways, helping protect the landscapes and ecosystems that define this region.”
